# Cadastre > Cadastre is a data source for real-estate and site-selection data (not listings): public market, labor, demographic, infrastructure, hazard and health datasets for every U.S. metro area, with their sources, licences and methods documented. These docs describe every dataset Cadastre holds, how metro values are computed, and the rights and credit each source carries. Pages describe data; they do not publish data values. The read-only API and a remote MCP server are coming soon. ## Get started - [Home](https://getcadastre.com/index.md): what Cadastre does, where to sign up or sign in, and where agents start. - [Introduction](https://getcadastre.com/docs.md): What Cadastre is, and what it offers people, their tools and AI agents. - [Getting started](https://getcadastre.com/docs/getting-started.md): Sign in, use the data in the app, and how programmatic access will work. ## Data - [Datasets](https://getcadastre.com/docs/datasets.md): Every dataset Cadastre imports: publisher, licence, availability and what it measures. - [Dataset: TIGER boundaries](https://getcadastre.com/docs/datasets/tiger.md): The Census Bureau's TIGER/Line boundaries: states, counties, metropolitan and micropolitan statistical areas, combined statistical areas, metropolitan divisions, census tracts, places and other layers.
